Columbus Zombies

May 22, 2009

Want to help feed the hungry, while also marching for your Post Vital Rights? The Columbus, Ohio Zombie Walk is coming June 6th 2009!

What do we want? Brains! When do we want it? Brains!

When do we want it? Brains!

ZombieWalk Columbus is a grassroots organization that aims to generate awareness through annual public performances and “street theatrics” of bone chilling proportions. Horror enthusiasts, young and old, are invited to dust off their Halloween spirit, as well as their costumes and make-up, and take part in our third annual event Saturday, June 6th, 2009 at Goodale Park.

Continuing this honorable trend toward feeding others – rather than feeding on others -˗ freshly converted and veteran zombies alike will stagger, limp, and lurch their way along the sidewalks of the Short North. Completing a circuit of about two miles, the trek takes approximately 60-90 minutes, depending on the lag of each zombie. And this year’s goal? To generate over a half ton of food for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank, an organization that provides more than 43,000 meals each day to people in central and eastern Ohio.
