1. Why do my comments not appear when I post them? – Each new poster must be approved by the webmaster. This may take several hours to occur, but once you are approved your comments should show up immediately. We apologize for this inconvenience, but it is a way to limit spam.
2: Where can I get an avatar for my posts? – ZADL uses the free service Gravatar for avatar hosting. The benefit is that many blogs use the same service, so having one here will set you up for all of them and you can use the same account to log into those blogs as well. Until you have a gravatar account, a random badge will be assigned to you.
3: Who hosts ZADL? – At the moment we are hosted at WordPress.com, a free blog hosting site. Our limitations are imposed by them, but we do plan to move hosting at a later time which will allow for greater flexibility.
4: Will you censor posts? – We consider ZADL to be a civil site, so gross obscenity will be edited. However, we are open minded, and will allow opposing viewpoints as long as no one descends into truly obnoxious behavior. There will be a great deal of leeway but please remember that sometimes children do visit this site, and that the cardinal rule is “don’t be a jerk.”
