X-Files
The X-Files a name synonomous with the supernatural, the extra-terrestial and the just plain odd. Late into the run of the show they did an episode about post vital existence entitled Hollywood A.D. To be more specific, season 7 episode 19. This is by many one of the worst episodes of the entire series, but it is a light hearted comical one. Why I bring this episode up is this fascinating piece of dialogue right here:
Mulder: You know Scully, I was just thinking about Lazarus, Ed Wood, and those Tofurkey-eatin’ zombies. How come when people come back from the dead, they always wanna hurt the living?
Scully: Well, that’s because people can’t really come back from the dead, Mulder. I mean, ghosts and zombies are just projections of our own repressed cannibalistic and sexual fears and desires. They are who we fear that we are at heart. Just mindless automatons who can only kill and eat.
Mulder: Party pooper. Well, I got a new theory. I say that when zombies try to eat people, that’s just the first stage. You see, they’ve just come back from being dead, so they’re gonna do all the things they missed from when they were alive. So first, they’re gonna eat. Then, they’re gonna drink. Then, they’re gonna dance and make love.
Truly a enlightened attitude to take toward the post vital. Kudos to the writers for this piece of dialogue.
ZADL Seeks Writers
We think it’s pretty obvious from the lack of consistent posts around here that meat-life interferes pretty much with our humble attempts at blogging. That being said, we are seeking writers to assist with the work. If you’re interested, please leave a comment in this thread or e-mail us at ZADL at mac dot com, and we’ll contact you as soon as we can.
The Zombie Tabernacle Choir
Such wondrous tones! Such an amazing idea! Just click on the Zombie you wish to sing, or Zombies, and listen to the dulcet tones only the Post-Vital can achieve!
Weather Zombie
You know how terrible cold weather can be. Drying your skin out, and slowing you down. Well now there is a Zombie Friendly weather service called Weather Zombie. We wholeheartedly endorse this.

Living with Necro Ambulatory Disorder
We’re not too sure about the use of the word “disorder” but we feel that the message will be in the right place. We look forward to the finished film.
Japanese Zombies Advertise
Previously on this site we reported how a simple house visit by a Zombie was misinterpreted by Japanese children to be an attack, and how a vitalist reporter egged them on to attack and embarrass the Zombie.
We would like it known however that Japan is a complex and deep culture, and that those vitalist views are not shared by all. Here they are selling Pocky, a kind of candy-ish snack. We wonder if these guys are Z.A.G.
