Say it ain't so!
We haven’t talked much about
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies here at ZADL because there really isn’t much to talk about. It’s pure vitalist hate. The zombies are simply placed within the pages of Jane Austin’s novel, and act as foils. No zombie is allowed to speak, and the one token zombie wedding is something of a throwaway, and not nearly enough to offset the universal hatred of zombies that the author clearly has. It’s a killfest with well spoken dialog and late 18th century romance.
Well now it seems that this book will be made into a film, and that Natalie Portman will be starring in, and producing it.
We urge that Ms Portman reconsider, promoting hate towards our post-vital friends is unworthy of an actress of her talents.
More on this as it develops.

How bad can it be when the (unstated) subplot of movie will clearly be eating Natalie Portman??
