Zombie Pirates

As you all should know by now, Saturday September 19 is Talk Like A Pirate Day, and nothing goes better with Pirates than Zombies.

In Iowa City, the day will be celebrated by the fourth annual Zombie March, which begins at 5 PM in Happy Hollow Park. Living folks can show up early to get help with makeup, but actual Zombies are encouraged to arrive as is.

The event is for charity, so if you have any spare cash, or want to pick up a t-shirt (proceeds go to charity) donations are accepted. If not, there will be information about volunteering for soup kitchens and the like (Zombies actually do make good cooks, but should wear hair-nets while preparing food.)

The organizer is King Zombie, but I don’t remember voting for him.
