Wa-Po Discusses Zombie Games
The Washington Post today discusses the rise of Zombie games. They note that there appears to be a glut of them, and that they seem to be very popular.
Must be a slow news day.
Of course there are Zombie games! And almost to a one these games focus on killing these poor majestic creatures. One notable exception was Stubbs the Zombie which was an early effort in the Zombie Rights Movement to try and portray a more sympathetic view. From our perspective, the game may have relied too much on stereotypes, but the intent was there and for that we are grateful. Also, it was fun, and that is the point of games.
We at ZADL issue a challenge to all game makers out there: Make more games with a positive post vital message! Challenge the shotgun of oppression!
