Rising Up: Further News

Recently we posted about Rising Up: The Story of the Zombie Rights Movement and as a follow-up we wrote to the filmmakers in order to make them aware of our support. It is with great happiness that we report that the Producer, Brendan O’Brien has responded.

Thank you very much for your interest in our project.

It has been too long that the struggle for zombie rights has been swept under our national rug of history.

I assure you that we did our best to enlist advice and commentary from the whole of the zombie rights community, past and present. In retrospect, not consulting with the ZADL was an unforgivable oversight for which I must take full responsibility.

I would invite you and your membership to keep apprised of our film’s progress via our website and our Facebook page as we try to spread our incredibly important message.
